Etymology
[edit]Coined by Japanese director of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Tomohide Akiyama in 1982[1] from a compound of 森林 (shinrin, “forest”) + 浴 (yoku, “bath, bathing”).[2][3][4]
