Idiom

不(ふ)幸(こう)中(ちゅう)の幸(さいわ)い • (fukōchū no saiwai) 

1. small mercy (from some misfortune); silver lining of a dark cloud; consolation in sadness; blessing in disguise

   誰(だれ)も死(し)ななかったのは不幸中(ふこうちゅう)の幸(さいわ)いでした。

   Dare mo shinanakatta no wa fukōchū no saiwai deshita.

   It is a consolation that no one was killed.
