Borrowed from English gospel song.[1][2][3]

First cited to the 1966 book さらばモスクワ愚連隊 (Saraba Mosukuwa Gurentai, “Good-bye to Moscow Hoodlums”), the debut novel of Hiroyuki Itsuki.[1]
