五智如来
[proper noun] (religion, Buddhism) In Vajrayana Buddhism, the Five Dhyani Buddhas, also known as the Five Wisdom Tathāgatas, the Five Great Buddhas and the Five Jinas (Sanskrit for "conqueror" or "victor"), are representations of the five qualities of the Buddha, and an important entity in Shingon Buddhism. These five are:

[proper noun] 阿閦如来 (あしゅくにょらい, Ashuku Nyorai): east
[proper noun] 大日如来 (だいにちにょらい, Dainichi Nyorai): center
