Etymology

Medieval Greek. Uttering together the phrase ἐν τούτοις (en toútois): ἐν (en, preposition) + τούτοις (toútois), dative plural of Medieval τοῦτος (toûtos) from Ancient Greek οὗτος (hoûtos)). Compare to Ancient Greek ἐν τούτῳ (en toútōi).
