ἄφλαστον
Appearance
Ancient Greek
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Bechtel posited "that which prevents destruction", from ἀ- (a-, “not”) + φλάω (phláō, “to crush”), but this is considered improbable by Beekes, who claims it is from Pre-Greek.
