     wäʾməz sobä bäṣḥä yosef ḫäbehomu säläbwo kədano zäʿäśḳ zäyläbs .

     So it came to pass, when Joseph had come to his brothers, that they stripped Joseph of his tunic, the tunic of many colors that was on him.

   • Genesis 38:14

     ወኀደገት ፡ አልባሲሃ ፡ ዘመበለታ ፡ ወለብሰት ፡ ሞጣሕታ ፡ ወተንሥአት ፡ ወነበረት ፡ ውስተ ፡ አንቀጽ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፍኖት ፡ ዘቴ[ምና] ፡ እስመ ፡ ርእየት ፡ ከመ ፡ ልህቀ ፡ ሴሎም ፡ ወውእቱሰ ፡ ኢፈቀደ ፡ የሀባ ፡ ኪያሃ ፡ ትኩኖ ፡ ብእሲተ ።

     wäḫädägät ʾälbasiha zämäbäläta wäläbsät moṭaḥta wätänśəʾät wänäbärät wəstä ʾänḳäṣ wəstä fənot zäte[məna] ʾəsmä rəʾyät kämä ləhḳä selom wäwʾətusä ʾifäḳädä yähäba kiyaha təkuno bəʾsitä .

     So she took off her widow’s garments, covered herself with a veil and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place which was on the way to Timnah; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given to him as a wife.
