Etymology

From Proto-Kartvelian *ḳec₁- (to put together).

The attested inflected form შეკიცუნა (šeḳicuna) consists of a preverb, a root, remnant of the thematic suffix -ავ (-av) or an additive, direct object plural marker and 3rd person singular subject marker.
