[edit]From ი- (i-) + მონკა (monǩa) + -ან- (-an-) + -ენ (-en). Inherited from Proto-Georgian-Zan *maḳen- (“to get heavy, pregnant”).

- to become heavier, to get heavy
- ჰანწო უშქურიზ დიდო ჩანს. ვაიმონჭაშა ტოტეფე დიმონკანენ დო გჲოვდეზ ელუჭკოდუნ.
- hanǯo uşkuriz dido çans. vaimonç̌aşa ťoťepe dimonǩanen do gyovdez eluç̌ǩodun.
- Apples are very productive this year. Before they ripen, the branches get heavy and crack off the trunk.
