Inherited from Proto-Georgian-Zan *ʒec₁xl-. Cognate with Mingrelian დაჩხირი (dačxiri) and Georgian ცეცხლი (cecxli).

  2. fever
    ბერექ, იზაბუნუში დაჩხური ჲუხთუ. ჰემ ორაზ ბეჯღუ.
    berek, izabunuşi daçxuri yuxtu. hem oraz becğu.
    When the child got sick, he had a fever. Then he became delirious (spoke gibberish).
