Particularly: “MED gives the Burmese script for the Pali as သောမော (somo). What does this romanize to, "somo" (which isn't mentioned in the DSAL Pali dictionary)? Is this somma (pleasing, agreeable), itself from Sanskrit सौम्य (saumya, soma-like, auspicious)?”
