Particularly: “Not given etymology by STEDT (lyaṅ "fast (quick)"). Luce gives Old Chinese (OC *raːŋ, *raŋ, *raŋs, “quick-footed, vivacious”), Tibetan རིངས (rings, to hurry, haste) as cognates.[1]
