Compare Southern Qiang [Term?] (/ʁə̀/, “wheat, barley”), Burmese မျိုး (myui:, “seed, type, lineage”), Western Tamang [script needed] ('pluh, “seed”); potential Chinese comparanda include 物 (OC *mɯd), 苗 (OC *mrew) and 麰 (OC *mu).
