[edit]Inherited from Prakrit 𑀤𑀸𑀠𑀺𑀆 (dāḍhiā), from Sanskrit दाढिका (dāḍhikā). Cognate with Old Marathi 𑘟𑘰𑘛𑘲 (dāḍhī).
