दे॒वासो॑ म॒न्युं दास॑स्य श्चम्न॒न् ते न॒ आ व॑क्षन्त् सुवि॒ताय॒ वर्ण॑म् ॥- ó tyé nára índram ūtáye gur nū́ cit tā́nt sadyó ádhvano jagamyāt.
devā́so manyúṃ dā́sasya ścamnan té na ā́ vakṣant suvitā́ya várṇam. - These men have come to Indra for assistance: shall he not immediately come upon these pathways?
May the Gods quell the fury of the Dāsa, and may they lead our folk to happy fortune.

sādhóḥ piba pratikāmáṃ yáthā te rásāśiraḥ prathamáṃ somyásya. - Sprung into existence at that very moment, the young Bull longed to taste the pressed-out Soma's liquor.
Drink thou thy fill, according to thy longing, first, of the goodly mixture blent with Soma.
