Etymology
[edit]Inherited from Old Marathi 𑘭𑘹𑘽𑘥𑘨𑘲 (seṃbharī), 𑘭𑘝𑘥𑘨𑘲 (satabharī) (compare Sanskrit शत (śatá) and भर (bhára)[1]). Related to the suffix -शे (-śe).

[edit]- -शे (-śe) is used instead of शंभर (śambhar) for 101 to 199 inclusive and multiples of one hundred such as:[2][3]
