- perplexity, confusion, delusion, doubt, error, false opinion, false impression of, mistaking something for, supposing anything to be or to exist
- c. 700 CE – 900 CE, Bhāgavata Purāṇa 10.58.10:
- न ते ऽस्ति स्वपरभ्रान्तिर् विश्वस्य सुहृद् आत्मनः ।
तथापि स्मरतां शश्वत् क्लेशान् हंसि हृदि स्थितः ॥- na te ʼsti svaparabhrāntir viśvasya suhṛd ātmanaḥ.
tathāpi smaratāṃ śaśvat kleśān haṃsi hṛdi sthitaḥ. - You are the well-wisher of the world's soul, you do not have the “us” and “them” delusion.
Then too, you continuously destroy the hardships of those who are remembering you and reside in their heart.
