[edit]Inherited from Old Marathi 𑘡𑘲𑘪𑘯𑘜𑘹 (nīvaḷaṇe), from Prakrit 𑀡𑀺𑀫𑁆𑀫𑀮 (ṇimmala) + Old Marathi 𑘜𑘹 (ṇe). Related to निव्वळ (nivvaḷ).
