[edit]Ultimately from Sanskrit निर्वाहयति (nirvāhayati).[1][2] Compare Gujarati નિભાવવું (nibhāvvũ), Hindustani نِبَھانَا (nibhānā) / निभाना (nibhānā), Sindhi نِڀائِڻُ / निभाइणु, Punjabi ਨਿਭਾਉਣਾ (nibhāuṇā) / نِبھاؤݨا (nibhā'oṇā).
