[edit]Inherited from Sanskrit स्थेष्ठ (stheṣṭha). Cognate with Gujarati ઠેઠ (ṭheṭh), Hindustani ٹھیٹھ (ṭheṭh) / ठेठ (ṭheṭh), Punjabi ਠੇਠ (ṭheṭh) / ٹھیٹھ (ṭheṭh).
