Etymology
[edit]Borrowed from Classical Persian خراب (xarāb), from Arabic خَرَاب (ḵarāb). Compare Bengali খারাব (kharab), Nepali खराब (kharāb), Punjabi ਖ਼ਰਾਬ (xarāb), Tulu ಖರಾಬ್ (kharābŭ).
