Derived from Old Marathi 𑘓𑘲𑘯𑘭 (cīḷasa, nausea), from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀓𑀺𑀮𑀺𑀲 (kilisa, tired, nauseated), from Sanskrit क्लेश (kleśa, affliction, pain).
