[edit]Derived from Old Marathi 𑘓𑘲𑘯𑘭 (cīḷasa, “nausea”), from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀓𑀺𑀮𑀺𑀲 (kilisa, “tired, nauseated”), from Sanskrit क्लेश (kleśa, “affliction, pain”).
