[edit]Inherited from Old Marathi 𑘎𑘩𑘻𑘯 (kaloḷa), 𑘎𑘩𑘿𑘩𑘻𑘯 (kalloḷa), from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀓𑀮𑁆𑀮𑁄𑀮 (kallola), from Sanskrit कल्लोल (kallola), from a Dravidian language. Compare Hindustani کَلول (kalol) / कलोल (kalol), Sindhi ڪَلولِ, Punjabi ਕਲੋਲ (kalol) / کَلول (kalol), Tamil கல்லோலம் (kallōlam).
