[edit]Inherited from Old Marathi उचलणे (ucalaṇe) (intransitive), from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀉𑀘𑁆𑀘𑀮𑁆𑀮𑀇 (uccallaï) (intransitive), 𑀉𑀘𑁆𑀘𑀸𑀮𑁂𑀇 (uccālei) (transitive), from Sanskrit उच्चलति (uccalati). Compare Hindi उचलना (ucalnā), Nepali उचाल्नु (ucālnu), Sinhalese උසුලනවා (usulanawā).
