[edit]Inherited from Prakrit 𑀅𑀁𑀕 (aṃga) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀟- (-ḍa-) + -𑀇𑀓𑀸- (-ikā-), from Sanskrit अङ्ग (aṅga). Cognate with Gujarati આંગડી (ā̃gaḍī).
