[edit]From Northern Kurdish سپههی (spehî, “beautiful, fair, good”). Influenced by ܨܸܦܝܵܐ (ṣipyā, “pure”).

- ܟܠ ܡܸܢܕܝܼ ܨܦܵܝܝܼ ܠܲܐܟ݂ܵܐ؟ ― kul mindī ṣpāyī laˀḵā? ― Is everything okay here?
- ܐܵܢܵܐ ܪܵܒܵܐ ܨܦܵܝܝܼ ܐܸܕܝܘܿܡ ܫܟܝܼܪ ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ! ― ānā rābā ṣpāyī idyōm škīr allāhā! ― I am really well today thanks be to God!
- ܐܲܒ݂ܵܗܝܼ̈ ܨܦܝܼ ܝܢܵܐ ܬܵܘܕܝܼ! ― aḇāhī ṣpī ìnā tāwdī! ― My parents are doing well thank you!
