[edit]Semi-learned borrowing from Classical Syriac equivalent to a contraction of ܥܕ݂ܲܡܵܐ (ˁḏammā, “until”) + ܡ̣ܢ (min, “from”) + ܗܵܫܵܐ (hāšā, “now”).
