[edit]From Akkadian 𒍣𒄿𒄣 (/zîqu, zīqīqu/, “breeze, blast of air; storm, wind; ghost”), where also 𒄑𒍣𒋡 (/zâqu/, “to blow”). Also Jewish Palestinian Aramaic, Jewish Literary Aramaic, Jewish Babylonian Aramaic זִיקָא (zīqā).
