ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܡܲܢܸܚ ܠܹܗ • (allāhā manniḥ lēh)

Literally, “May God put him/her to rest”, phrase used after a reference to a deceased man or boy
Synonym: ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܡܚܲܣܹܐ ܠܹܗ (allāhā mḥassē lēh)

This is the masculine singular form; the feminine singular is ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܡܲܢܸܚ ܠܵܗ̇ (allāhā manniḥ lāh), and the plural is ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܡܲܢܸܚ ܠܗܘܿܢ (allāhā manniḥ lhōn).
The traditional response is ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܡܲܢܸܚ ܡܝܼ̈ܬ݂ܘܼܟ݂ (allāhā manniḥ mīṯūḵ, literally “May God rest your deceased”).
A more complete form of this blessing is ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܡܲܢܝܸܚ ܠܹܗ ܓܲܘ ܢܘܼܗܪܵܐ ܘܦܲܪܕܲܝܣܵܐ (allāhā manyiḥ lēh gaw nuhrā w-pardaysā, “May God give him rest in light and paradise.”)
