[edit]From earlier گنجوَر (ganjwar), from Middle Persian 𐭢𐭭𐭦𐭥𐭡𐭥 (gncwbl /ganjwar/) (Manichaean Middle Persian [script needed] (gnzwr /ganzwar/)), from Old Persian *ganzabarah, from Old Median *ganǰabarah.
