Inherited from Prakrit 𑀥𑀲𑀇 (dhasaï), from Sanskrit ध्वसति (dhvasáti).

  1. to fall down; drop
  2. to be demolished; razed (of a building)
  3. (in compounds) to fall down, collapse (physically, ie. to become weak or suffer a fall)
