Etymology

Inherited from Prakrit *𑀟𑀺𑀗𑁆𑀕 (*ḍiṅga). Cognate with Saraiki ݙِن٘گا (ḏiṉgā) and Sindhi ڏِن٘گو (ḏingo) / ڏِنگُ (ḏingu).
