[edit]From Aramaic קוּפְסָא (qūp̄sā) / קַפְצָא (qap̄əṣā) / ܩܰܦܣܳܐ (qap̄əsā) / ܩܰܦܨܳܐ (qap̄əṣā, “cage”), from Ancient Greek κάψος (kápsos) or Latin capsus.
