      ʔabširī faʔinnaki talidīna ḡulāman ʔin šāʔa llāhu taʕālā fa-ʔusammī-hī sman ḥasanan ṯumma ʔuʔaddibu-hū ʔaḥsana l-ʔadabi wa-ʔuʕallimu-hū wujūha l-ʕilmi fayakūna lanā ʕuqban ṣāliḥan waʔanā mutaqaddimun fī l-timāsi l-ʔaẓʔāri la-hū.
      Rejoice, for you’re going to give birth to a boy, God willing. I’ll choose a beautiful name, give him the finest upbringing, and teach him all sorts of subjects, and we shall have a righteous legacy. I’ll set out at once to find nurses for him.
