صِفَة مُشَبَّهَة (ṣifa(t) mušabbahaf npers

  1. (Arabic grammar) An adjective that is derived from a (usually intransitive) verb and describes an inherent, stable characteristic of a subject. Example include طَوِيل (ṭawīl) from طَالَ (ṭāla) and كَرِيم (karīm) from كَرُمَ (karuma).
