      Crushed caltrop ten dirham; ginger four dirham; sesame oil one cupful; fresh water fiteen cupfuls. Cook (this) in a pot on a low flame until the water is gone and the oil is left, (then) take it of the fire, strain it, and use it as an enema from the back or from the front by injecting it into (the rectum or) the urethra; and when rubbed into the pubic region, it resolves urinary detention.

Etymology 3

Akin to Persian جره باز (jorra bâz), Middle Armenian ճուռակ (čuṙak), Byzantine Greek τζουράκιον (tzourákion) also meaning falcons.[1] Possibly also the source of زَارُوك (zārūk), denoting a kind of dhow of about 20 metres in length and 4 to 6 m across the beam used until the 1970s for trafficking.[2]
