جانب • (jâneb) (plural جوانب (javâneb))
- side, direction
- c. 1260s, Jalāl ad-Dīn Mohammad Rūmī, translated by Reynold A. Nicholson, مثنوی معنوی, volume I, verse 3098:
- علت تنگی است ترکیب و عدد / جانب ترکیب حسها میکشد
- 'alât-i-tangi-st tarkîb u 'adad / jânib-i-tarkîb has-hâ me-kišad
- The cause of narrowness is composition (compoundness) and number (plurality): the senses are moving towards composition.
