Inherited from Prakrit 𑀅𑀡𑁄𑀓𑁆𑀔 (aṇŏkkha), *𑀅𑀡𑀯𑁂𑀓𑁆𑀔 (*aṇavekkha), from Sanskrit अनपेक्ष (anapekṣa). Doublet of اَݨوکھ (aṇokh).
