- Masculine singular present participle and present tense of יָדַע (yadá).
- הוא יודע מה הוא עושה. ― hu yodéa má hu osé. ― He knows what he's doing.
- לא יודע. ― lo yodéa ― Don't know.

Usage notes
[edit]Historically used in reported speech to distance a Jewish writer from the way Nazis discussed Jews and their own opinion. In some texts, it would be used to report a speaker as German without necessarily saying such.
