[edit]Etymology
[edit]The stem *քե- (*kʻe-) is from Proto-Indo-European *twé. Compare Ancient Greek accusative σέ (sé), Sanskrit nominative त्वम् (tvám). The ending -եզ (-ez) is from the same Proto-Indo-European *-ǵʰi, *-ǵʰe particle as the -ձ (-j) in ինձ (inj), with the regular development of *ǵʰ → զ (z) between vowels.
