Etymology

Wholly borrowed from Iranian: compare Middle Persian [Book Pahlavi needed] (wʾspwhlkʾn /⁠wāspuhragān⁠/, special, particular). Equivalent to սեպուհ (sepuh) +‎ -ական (-akan). Doublet of վասպուրական (vaspurakan).
