Unknown. Ačaṙean compares to Proto-Slavic *čǫbьrъ. Note also Mingrelian ჭაფურია (č̣apuria), Laz ჭაფურია (ç̌apuria).

  1. a kind of plant, usually identified with caraway, Carum carvi
