[edit]Etymology
[edit]A Zan borrowing: compare Mingrelian ჭკუჯი (č̣ḳuǯi, “vessel”).[1] Ultimately from Proto-Georgian-Zan *č̣ur- (“vessel”). The forms կճուկ (kčuk) and կճիկ (kčik) are probably from earlier *կճճուկ (*kččuk) and *կճճիկ (*kččik), suffixed with -ուկ (-uk) and -իկ (-ik) respectively.
Noun
[edit]կճուճ • (kčuč)
