[edit]Perhaps a Northeast Caucasian borrowing. Compare Archi ахъ (aq, “leg”), Khinalug анк (ank, “leg”), Aghul агъ (ağ, “leg”).[1] For other body part terms possibly borrowed from Northeast Caucasian see մագիլ (magil).
