Cognate with Old Turkic [script needed] (iriŋ, pus); Kazakh ірің (ırıñ, pus), Kyrgyz ириң (iriŋ, pus), Uzbek yiring, Khakas ірінъ (ìrìnʺ, pus), Tuvan ириң (iriñ, pus), Turkish irin (pus), etc.
