  1. ink (a pigment (or dye)-based fluid used for writing, printing etc.)
  2. ink (the black or dark-colored fluid ejected by squid, octopus etc, as a protective strategy.)
  3. (colloquial, derogatory) bum wine (cheap wine of very low quality, sold solely for the purposes of intoxication)

      It isn't known, who named it that way. Probably it just caught on among the people, but I heard this definition «bum wine» from one of the upperclassmen and later passed this knowledge on to my friend during the fascinating moment of getting our first wine drinking experience...
