From ски́нути (skýnuty) +‎ -ся (-sja). Compare Belarusian скі́нуцца (skínucca), Russian ски́нуться (skínutʹsja).

  4. (colloquial) to chip in, to pitch in [with instrumental or по (po, + locative) ‘with something (a contribution)’, along with на (na, + accusative) ‘for something’] (to make a contribution)
  5. to resemble, to look like, to seem like [with на (na, + accusative)]
  6. to turn into [with instrumental]
