[edit]From a diminutive form of Proto-Slavic *gornъ (“(flower)pot”), out of which Macedonian грне (grne, “ceramic pot”) comes. Compare Belarusian гаршчо́к (harščók), Ukrainian го́рщик (hórščyk), горщо́к (horščók).
