Russian
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Unclear. Hinze hypothesized that the term is an alteration of German Buschurunk (“sailor's blouse”), influenced by хала́т (xalát, “smock, robe”); Shansky found Hinze's argument insufficiently convincing.
