[edit]Ultimately from Ancient Greek ἄνθρωπος (ánthrōpos), with -ло́гія (-lóhija) ending from Ancient Greek -λογία (-logía). Compare Russian антрополо́гия (antropológija), Belarusian антрапало́гія (antrapalóhija), Polish antropologia.
